MIDNIGHT BLUE-LIGHT SPECIAL open thread!

To celebrate the release of Midnight Blue-Light Special, here. Have an open thread to discuss the book. Judging by the comments I'm seeing, you've had time.

THERE WILL BE SPOILERS.

Seriously. If anyone comments here at all, THERE WILL BE SPOILERS. So please don't read and then yell at me because you encountered spoilers. You were warned. (I will not reply to every comment; I call partial comment amnesty. But I may well join some of the discussion, or answer questions or whatnot.) I will be DELETING all comments containing spoilers which have been left on other posts. No one gets to spoil people here without a label.

You can also start a discussion at my website forums, with less need to be concerned that I will see everything you say! In case you wanted, you know, discussion free of authorial influence, since I always wind up getting involved in these things.

Sarah, oh, poor dear. She's so brave and so scared.

It's an excellent book, which I just finished this morning, and I'm going to reread it in a few days. Also and too, I loved seeing the mice take a more active role, and meeting more of Verity's extended family, and Dominic and Verity making major life choices (not to mention Sarah *sniffles*), and well, everything about the story.

Yeah, I wanted to say that I re-re-read the book again, and she STILL broke my heart. I cried. That scene in the hospital... I cried.
Sweet, brave, amazing Sarah.
"It was the only way to make her stop screaming." I've done that to characters. It always hurts. I am always impressed and amazed at how you are able to balance people's psychologies so well.
