Darkness falls across the land...

...the midnight hour is close at hand.

Just a quick note before our regularly scheduled Inchworm Post: sometimes I will make mistakes in posts. Words get typed wrong, or mispunctuated, and we're all helpful people, we all like to help. Please, before pointing out a typo, skim to see whether someone else (or six someones) may have already pointed it out. I get cranky when the same things are brought up repeatedly before I can fix them, and that isn't fair of me. I'm only human.

This is the current shape of my 2013, with travel dates and everything. Beautiful travel dates. Hope to see you sometime in the months to come.

*lol* Any chance of a Vancouver, BC Canada visit?
Not unless a convention in Vancouver, BC invites me as a guest of honor.
I should look around... sadly I think we have two SF cons total. And anime cons, but not quite the same thing...

So, I may have just missed this, but where was "Married in Green" published? I've been loving a lot of your short fiction, and would love to pick up more. :)

Also, really can't wait for Midnight Blue-Light Special. Hail!
Married in Green is up on her site, I think. :D
Post just went up!
Most excellent - thank you! I look forward to putting it with the rest of the Incryptid family. :)

(I also really need an Aeslin mice icon...I guess the Death of Rats is the closest I have.)
Here, have a soft blankie and a purry sleepy cat.
YAY!
We're looking forward to seeing you at the release party on Saturday! I hope you had fun in Seattle over the weekend - we thought of you while at Consonance.

I hope you find time for that nap.
I napped today! Sleepishly.
oooh I can maybe get to Toronto for that con!
That would be lovely!
I agree :) You`ve quickly become my favourite author in the past year, so it would be awesome to meet you! :D As it is, I fangirl a little inside everytime you respond to my comments lol.
My mom came home from Boskone and said, "Well, you're definitely going to want to go next year," and told me she had almost signed me up because she knew I loved your books, but decided to leave it up to me. (She's right, of course.) Sadly, I can't make it to Vericon, but that looks like a delightful weekend too.

Also, completely unrelatedly, I misread "March" as "Mareh" because of the strikethrough, even though I knew what word it was supposed to be. What odd tricks the mind plays.

Yay new Incryptid story and (soon) novel!
Hooray!
You make me feel absolutely, positively lazy beyond all words as I stare at the third or so draft of my story and debate on burning it. :P

That being said, I wish I was in the areas where you are doing your appearances! I'm entirely on the wrong side and area of the country to go and see you in person. Good luck!
I go where I'm asked! Maybe I'll come to you soon.
The next convention I'm planning on attending is Darkover Con--- :P but if I can wrangle a few conspirators into it, I'll see if I can't convince them to work with me on either GA or Boston.

So having just finished Oz: Reimagined, and starting Mad Scientist's Guide to World Domination, I found myself wondering...

Do you, as a contributor to the anthology, get to read the other stories in the anthology before hand? or do you discover the rest of the stories along with us when it is released? It must be an interesting experience to see how others tackled the same challenge/answered the same question that you did, with everyone's unique twist.
We discover them along with everyone else!
Annnnnd.... Midnight Blue-Light Special is available at Kobobooks! Cha-ching. Zzzzooop. (Erm, that was the sound of me buying it and it shooting down the wires into my ereader.)
Woo!
