A few quick, friendly reminders.

Reminder the first: If I say a giveaway has rules, it has rules, and those rules are absolute. If my mother, who lives with me, enters the drawing and doesn't say "US address," she is not eligible to win. It's the only way to be fair, since otherwise my personal knowledge of some people's situations would mean that they had an advantage.

Reminder the second: I do not answer questions posed on giveaway posts. It confuses the random number generator by distorting the signal to noise ratio. If you're trying to ask me something directly, either comment on another applicable post, or send me an email.

Reminder the third: I try to answer all comments and emails which are not directly tied to a giveaway post or posted under comment amnesty. This is not an instantaneous process. I have 500+ comments currently waiting to be answered, and no one knows how many email messages. Please don't email AGAIN asking where your reply is. It doesn't make me faster, it just makes me sad.

These have been your friendly reminders for today.

*pats*

Yeah, I noticed a few posters not doing that. And as I'm in canada and not entering the contest, I didn't reply.

Side note: Just finished Discount Armageddon. Good book, tho I was kinda surprised she let the people eating ghoul go...
He only did it once, and she tries to play fair.

"Tries" is the operative word here.
I've really enjoyed getting some of the responses that take a while!

It means I've had some time to let the back brain ponder whatever the comment was about, and it reminds me to go back and see what other people have had to say in the mean time.

Of course, I'm still amazed that you get back to all of your comments. I mean really you have a full time day job, write multiple books and other bits of fiction every year, and get exponentially more comments than I do.
I concur!
Thank you, honey.
People actually email you, asking where their reply is? Wow. How classy is that... :-P
My thought exactly. WTF? Rude!
Yeah, it's...special.
Whoops! Forgot rule #2. Any plans to release Velveteen vs. The Junior Super Patriots as an ebook in the foreseeable future?
That's a question for the publisher, not for me. If you look at the original post, you'll see that an ebook was announced, but I don't control when that happens.
Please don't email AGAIN asking where your reply is. It doesn't make me faster, it just makes me sad.

...honestly, I can't imagine how anyone could read you online without absorbing that a) you've got more on your plate than five average people combined, and b) you're consistently awesome about responding to comments and questions. Does not compute.
Special snowflakes are special.
Hey, some snowflakes are whole *blizzards* of special. I'm sure Jackie Frost has some Special Words for them, which I look forward to reading.

Iow, the Velveteen book arrived this week, & squee ensueth!
I feel privileged that any of my comments get answered at all. Very few authors do this and you're wonderful for doing as much as you do.
Wonderful, and tired!
Curses! I am thusly disqualified. Not the first time I've taken myself out of the running while trying to be entertaining. :)
It's okay, I never enter these things expecting to win. I do it because Coyote compels me. And we all know where that leads, right?
Cleveland?
In the most recent giveaway I ended up having a rather lengthy conversation in the comments before remembering this post and realizing that we may have just thrown off the Random Number Generator. Would us deleting the giveaway-irrelevant comments make things more or less complicated for you?
