A giveaway! FOR JUSTICE!

I have copies of Velveteen vs. The Junior Super Patriots, and guys, it is a pretty, pretty book. Very solid, very well-designed and awesome. And that means I should give a couple of copies away.

This is the first giveaway. It is open to all, with the caveat that if you are outside the United States, you must be willing to pay postage if you win. I am sorry about that, but I can't afford international postage right now. If that's cool with you, yay! If it's not, I really am sorry, and hopefully will win the lottery soon.

To enter, leave a comment with your location (US/non-US), and what super power you would have if you lived in Velveteen's universe. Winners will be selected via random number generator, BUT! If you don't include everything above, you cannot win.

I will randomly select a winner on Sunday, November 18th, so that I can mail the book before Thanksgiving.

Good luck! Game on!

US, and my super power would be the innate ability to file the right forms for any given situation. I'd be like a red-tape ninja, which would make my day job 1/8 as annoying as it usually is.
Sign me up! Holly Springs GA here…
US

Specifically, a state in the Midwest where gay marriage is legal.

The ability to transform the images in my head into paintings/holograms/illusions.
US location. I needs MOAR Velveteen. I've always wanted the ability to stop time and move outside of it. Just because it'd be awesome. So I pick that one.

US!

My superpower would be the ability to enchant any object so that it can fly.

..its hard to choose a super power, plants? electricity? books? I know, I want the job the sorting hat does, I want to be able to discern other peoples super powers and talents and exploit... uh... recruit them for world good. I think I will be a Super Villian, please.

Non-US - New Zealand, to be exact

I'd want the power to be unnoticeable, to blend into the background and not be of interest to anyone. A bit like invisibility, but I'd get to wear clothes :D
US

I'm a doctor, so I want an ability that allows me the equivalent of MRI vision or cancer/"bad-cell" detecting touch.
I'm in the US, and I would, at least at the moment, love the power to put my body on "auto-pilot" during the annoying moments, while my astral self could be productive and entertained. I say this having come off of a shift working in a mall, leading up to X-mas. Today wasn't my most stimulating day.
US

Actually, I think I already have the superpower of "find all the latent prints" on evidence. Useful for work, but if I were to ever have kids (or nieces/nephews more likely), then a few generations down the road it should lead to CSI, the crime-solver extraordinaire!

Oregon, USA. And telekinesis. Always be telekinetic.
US mailing address

My most desired superpower would be teleportation - I *want* to see far away places, but I do NOT want to travel hours and hours and hours to get there!
St. Louis, which makes me very much in the US. And I think I'd like super speed as a super power though I reserve the right to change my mind.
Non-US (Land of Poison and Flame), willing to pay postage!

My super power would be an aura that permanently cures mental illness when I hug people.
1. Location is US (Sunnyvale, California)
2. Super power - I would be Senora Semicolon (although I would have a proper tilde over the N). I would go through society inserting semicolons into proper usage and wiping out their mistaken use as colons.
Location - US

Superpower - I want to bend time to create my own personal bubble where I have time to do whatever needs doing.
US

My Superpower in Velveteen's World? I think it would be the Spell Binder/Letterman power (to change objects into other objects that are just a letter or two different in spelling).
US

I would be able to instantly transmit the knowledge of how to do a task through my thoughts. However, any misconceptions or confusion that I have would also be transmitted.
(That would certainly come in handy in my job as a teacher)
Non-US (Australian! Your book could come and spend time with the red-back spiders.) I am totally happy to pay postage.

I'd be able to get my stuffed animals to knit.
US

I'd like the power to have a parking space manifest itself whenever I need one.
Non-US (Canada), and more than willing to pay postage!

As epic as the possibilities are, my superpower would be the relatively mundane ability to rearrange any small space like fridges and the trunk of the car to make everything fit.
I'm located in the US, and I'd want the ability to transform matter (I'm thinking like the good old alchemical turn lead into gold, but turn anything into anything instead)!
US address (NYC), SuperPower (wanted: Good Luck) (feared: Immortality)(likely: Invisibility)(expected:) Bouncing.
(I could elucidate if you needed but I doubt you would, and I have a fair bit of Good Luck IRL so I am content.)
Non US (Australian)

Knee-jerk reaction would be either teleportation or invisiblity (to allow for shenannigans) but further consideration make think that the ability to do the Time-slowingy thing that Kiddon had from NYX would have the best options for both shennaniganery, and when i tire of pranks and japes, the ability to use my skills to improve the lives of myself those around me without doing so at the direct expense of others
In love with Velveteen's universe, so am dying to get my hands on a copy!
