Ashes of Honor is #16 on the New York Times Bestseller List for September 23rd, 2012.
This is the first time I have appeared on the print list (i.e., "the top twenty") under my own name. Late Eclipses and Discount Armageddon both made the list, but they were in the 30s, not the teens.
I am on the print list.
I am a New York Times Bestseller.
I am having real trouble not informing everyone I meet of that fact, including the guy at Starbucks who fixed my pumpkin spice latte. This isn't bragging. It's shock and delight and bafflement and awe.
Thank you all.
Thank you all so much.
Wow.

I got the email saying it had shipped, and I am checking the mail box several times a day. I secretly hope it arrives on my day off so I can read it all without interruption.

My order says delivery time is still 2-3 weeks.
Makes me feel like someone's typing up a whole book specifically for me or something. Grrrr.

When I ordered from Amazon to Australia, it would ALWAYS say 2-3 weeks, but it was usually 8-15 days. I think Book Depository says the same thing, but they usually get here in 7 working days.

Here's to hoping.
It's kind of weird... I'm in Switzerland. When I order English books I order via some book shop and their online service. They order them (usually) from the UK, if need be from the USA. Sometimes I get the books super-quickly, sometimes it takes ages. At the end of the day it usually doesn't make sense. :p Because they may not be able to get a new book which is being sold everywhere for up to 3 weeks while they deliver an older one like within 3 days. Hah, at one occassion I received an email from them saying the book hadn't been printed yet, even when I sent them the amazon link and even though the book was mentioned in newspapers and mags all over the world. LOL
