...be really glad you can't see my uncoordinated geek dance. You might go blind.

I saw the picture of you (and Ursula Vernon) on Neil Gaiman's blog, and ALMOST DIED.

I knew you were going to win, but seeing it just made it that much sweeter. And I may have made bat noises and flailed. Just a little.

I read the bolded bit and had to stop and think for a moment, because I initially thought it meant they made the Hugo award out of cats, and that's just ewwwww! but then I remembered that Cat Valente is also on the Squeecast, and heaved a sigh of relief.

I had this perfect moment of, I don't know what, where I was scrolling my LJ and Neil Gaiman's blog popped up and there you were and then another author posted that Ursula won and I used to to hang out with Ursula's SO (they are usually at my BFF's house when I go home and she has me a party) and I realized that I sorta know in real life two Hugo Award Winners and I don't know if you are a Gaiman fan girl but I squeed that you were on his page all cute and happy and it was just cool.

The internets are an amazing thing.
