Wicked Girls updates, both shirts and CDs.

Wicked Girls: the shirt.

The shirts have arrived from the printer, and they're perfect! Well. Most of the shirts have arrived from the printer: I'd say 95% of the shirts have arrived from the printer, and the last 5% are on back-order but should be with me very soon. And yes, I do mean "with me." Right now, the shirts are a huge stack of boxes in my living room, where the cats eye them with suspicion, because they dislike sealed boxes.

Why are the boxes sealed? The boxes are sealed because we're waiting for the mailing envelopes to arrive, and because we'd like to ship the darker colored shirts without a massive supply of bonus Maine Coon and Siamese hair this time. It's a wacky idea, I know, but work with me here. We've scheduled a packing party after Worldcon, to be held in a cat hair-free location, and will be trying to stuff literally every shirt into an envelope in a single evening. Mailing will commence immediately afterward.

I cannot take requests for early shipping right now, as that would require opening all the boxes and digging through all the shirts to find the right one. And then the cat hair precautions would be for naught. (Also because I'm in final prep for Worldcon, so I'm a little distracted, and only the Great Pumpkin knows what I would actually stuff into your envelope. Maybe it would be a T-shirt. Maybe it would be teeth. Who knows? Not me.)

But soon!

Wicked Girls: the CD.

The reprinted CDs have arrived from Oasis, and they're gorgeous. We fixed the typos from the first run (specifically the misspelling of "Carnival" on the back, and the spelling of Brian's last name throughout). The album is back in stock at CD Baby, at least for the moment; I shipped them 29 copies, and they're already down to 14, after having it in stock for a day. So if you've been waiting to get a copy of your very own, this would be a great time to order, since I have no idea when I'll be in a position to mail them a restock.

Basically, I am locked in a never-ending battle with the post office, and the post office is winning.

And that's the news.

I am so glad I caught your tweet about the CDs last night, as I was able to snap up a copy right away. Yay!
Yay!

Yay!
Squeeeeeeee! :)
I'm excited!
But, But, But ... I LIKE cat hair on my clothes!
Yes, but some people have allergies, and we're being nice.

Awww. The Oracle wants a shirt Thomas snuggled with. 8-)
Thomas isn't a snuggler. More of an attacker-from-above.
No costume is complete without cat hair! But as you refuse to share, Mystique and Halo have assured me they will continue to meet my needs.
One black, one white -doesn't matter what I wear!
I'm glad you have local suppliers.
Yay! I ordered a cd last night when I found out that they were back in stock. And don't worry! I don't care if it comes with cat hair. I have two of my own, one of which is a long hair, and I'm used finding fluff in random places. :)
Yay!
You mean there is a house - nay, even a room - that does NOT have cat hair in it? [pauses for a beat] What's it like? :D
Allergen-free? ;)

You must have known that I was just wondering if it wasn't about shirt time. Yay!
I understand about cat hair. My 3 cover pretty much all colors from white to black and in between, and they (especially the calico) would also be into all boxes.
I'm trying to spare those with allergies. For a change.
Yeah, I have my own Maine Coon hair, thank you. :-) Any chance of Wicked Girls posters in the future?
Soon!

Unless you're waiting for one you already paid for, in which case, email me. They were all supposed to have gone out, but I've had two reports of them going AWOL in the mail.
I greatly enjoyed the puff of cat fur that arrived with my shirt from the first batch.

(I have two fairly small shorthairs, so I understand the inevitability of cat fur, and how much more so it is for you.)
Thanks for understanding.
I was just wondering about the shirts this morning, but didn't want to pester you with everything else you have going on :)
The party is tomorrow!
Do I have to ask "How much more is it to order the massive supply of Maine Coon and Siamese cat hair without getting another T-shirt?" :)
I could easily fill an envelope.
Very excited - my CD is on its way!
I have been checking off and on on your main site and forgot to check LJ... IS there a chance you might have an extra Unisex XL?

If not, I will keep trying.

Have fun at WorldCon.
Um...maybe. Wait until we have all the envelopes packed, and then I'll know.

My husband loves me very much. On Saturday, TWO CDs arrived in the mail, Wicked Girls and Red Roses and Dead Things. He hadn't told me he was buying them.

You have to understand, *he's* the one who buys music. I mostly just hang out and listen in on his choices. So the fact that he got me something—in a genre he doesn't much listen to—is extra special.

Now the hard part is figuring out when to listen to them. I have a CD player in the car... but I also have kids. And one of them is very vocal about the fact that the Sesame Street Alphabet is the only thing he wants to listen to right now. (Unless I find the They Might Be Giants' Here Come the ABCs CD.)
Your husband rules.

I have unexpectedly moved since I ordered my shirt. I emailed the merch address from earlier communications (seananmerch at gmail dot com) on 9/6 to ask about best process for revising the shipping address, but have not gotten an answer. Is there a better route to go with that?

10/5 ETA: Never mind -- it was shipped to the old address, but the post office managed to get the mail forwarding right, and I received it today!
Hooray!
