I rarely try for books in the middle (or end) of a series I haven't read an earlier book of, but I've been wanting to read one of your books for awhile now and just haven't been able to pull together the funds (I do buy ebooks, but they have to be REALLY cheap). So I'm hoping this will give me a taste, even if I'm mildly confused. lol
I'm horrible, I know. :P
