It's been said and done; every beautiful song's been already sung.

So yesterday I was floored by one of those migraines that turns the whole world blurry with pain. Normal people might interpret this as the body wanting a break. I interpreted it as "take a nap before you make word count," and then made word count anyway, because what else am I supposed to do?

Here is the current shape of my 2012/2013, with travel dates and everything. Beautiful travel dates. Hope to see you sometime in the months to come.

I think Orbit wants you to start a new series to boost their Q4 earnings. You've already given DAW Q1 and Q3!
Not until I make enough money to quit the day job. All my go is gone.

Ow! Really hope today (and many days thereafter) will be better for you.
Me, too.
WHY DOES NO ONE EVER COME TO LOWELL MASSACHUSETTS!

They filmed "The Fighter" here! We have good Greek food! We should have a convention1
You could always try starting one.

So please ignore this if its easier..... Is there any way we can help with the works that are unsold ? apart from buying the works which have been ?

Buying the works which have been, really. Sometimes it's a matter of me finding the time to finish things, and other times it's a matter of being attractive enough as an author to warrant the time/money to buy me.
Commiseration about the migraine! I am prone to migraines triggered by bright light, jaw stress & allergies. Thus I avoid bright light [hiss, flinch], use a mouth guard at night [it helps ... some] - but I've dropped the allergy-triggered frequency a -lot- with the steroid nasal spray prescription I have now for a product called 'Nasarel'.

[blesses you]
San Diego 2014 in a few weeks, too!
True!
Chris works for a company that does magazine indexes.

Chris reports that you are now a "Named Entity" in her employer's database.

Which means that when they index a magazine article, your name will be highlighted and added to the index for the article.

This. Completely. ROCKS! :-)

I hope you are feeling better today.
I really, really am. :)
Please do rest.

So if it's lined out, it got sold, correct?
Not always. Sometimes the strike-through just means it got finished, and can now move on to submission. Or, in the case of the Vel stuff, it can move on to being posted for free.
Ouch. I hope the migraine is totally gone by now.

Where, please, will "Crystal Halloway and the Forgotten Passage" be reprinted.
In John Joseph Adam's new anthology, Other Worlds Than These.

Thanks!
Ugh migraine. Way to go on still getting words done. Lovely books to look forward to.

I hope you feel better soon Seanan!
I am much better, thank you. :)
I wish I could go to some of those events, but reading the October Daye books should be enough for me.
Aw, yay. :)
There must have been something in the air on Friday. Spawn and I both woke with migraines, and really drug through the day. Our work space has two shaded, filmed windows, and there was still wincing if the sun came out.

Glad yours is better, and much admiration for making word count with a migraine,
It was haaaaaaaaaaard.
Hope you're feeling better soon, I'm happy that I have plenty of Seanan to look forward to.
Thank you!
Yay! You're going to be in town for Comic Con! If you have time, come over to the 10th Street Theater and catch mine and Allison caprine Lonsdale's concert at Gam3rCon on Saturday evening.

Also, it's too bad you won't be at RadCon in February. But if they do another GeekFest in Seattle this December, I hope to see you there! :)
Sadly, it wasn't an option. But I'll be there if GeekFest repeats!
