Open thread because I have used up all my go.

Thomas says that it's time for an open thread, because I have used up all of my erudite and coherent, and have been staring at my screen, not actually doing anything, for hours. This time would be better spent petting the cat, ergo, it needs to stop. So here is a picture of Thomas cuddling his beloved plush Perry the Platypus to get you started. Nothing starts a conversation like a Maine Coon hugging a secret animal agent.

But anyway. Open thread! Say anything! Woo! Thomas says so.

Comment amnesty is on for this post, but I will be reading, and may reply anyway, because I'm wacky like that.

Peace out, y'all.

*sigh* There isn't a day that goes by the I don't curse being allergic to cats. I can be around them but I can't live any length of time with them as even with cleaning my breathing degrades significantly due to dander. And if I pet them I can't rub my eyes. Thus no snuggling with teh kitties. Medicine doesn't seem to help either unfortunately. :-(

That said my daughter seems to have NOT inherited that allergy so when she eventually gets out in the world she can have all the cats she wants.

In other silliness a friend of mine at work and I came up with an awesome breakfast food idea:

1) Shred cheddar cheese into the larger size shreds.

2) Grind some breakfast sausage extremely fine. Cook in gravy. (Brown or country - either one will do.) Might want to undercook the gravy.

3) Crumble a whole heck of a lot of bacon.

4) Mix the bacon with biscuit dough.

5) Place the dough mix in a greased muffin pan.

6) Make a small well in the center of the muffin and fill it with the gravy+sausage mix. Pinch it closed at the top.

7) Cover the top with shredded cheese.

8) Bake using the biscuit dough directions but monitor the cheese so it doesn't burn.

9) Enjoy cheese biscuit and gravy muffins.

Optionally I thought about using a pastry injector with a 1/4" tip to inject the gravy+sausage into the center then melt the cheese on afterwards.

If anybody wants to test this and report back I'd like to hear the results. :-)
