Thomas says that it's time for an open thread, because I have used up all of my erudite and coherent, and have been staring at my screen, not actually doing anything, for hours. This time would be better spent petting the cat, ergo, it needs to stop. So here is a picture of Thomas cuddling his beloved plush Perry the Platypus to get you started. Nothing starts a conversation like a Maine Coon hugging a secret animal agent.
But anyway. Open thread! Say anything! Woo! Thomas says so.
Comment amnesty is on for this post, but I will be reading, and may reply anyway, because I'm wacky like that.
I'm presently in the midst of moving to the upper floor of a duplex. It has a somewhat rickety external staircase that's the only way up. While doing the unpacking thing, it was remarked that my new place is remarkably good in case of a zombie invasion: All I have to do is take out the bottom six feet of steps, and have a ladder available, and I can come and go (somewhat) as I please, without risking the zombie horde invading.
Also I just read Fed. Awesome, awful...and somehow reminded me of one of those 'bad endings' that some of the more cinematic video games have if you make the wrong choices and doom the world.
