Yesterday, io9 published an excerpt of Blackout, the final book in the Newsflesh trilogy. Today, an intrepid Newsie hacked into the CDC computer system and liberated another file. For this one, though, you'll have to do a little digging...

Below is a puzzle whose answer reveals one of the five codes you'll need to access the second, top-secret document.

I would be most interested in the winning of tasty books.
Hello. I am commenting. Why yes, I would like to win a copy, how did you know?
Argh, I won't be home until late uh...any day this week to go find my books. ARGH! Impatience!
Oh, this will be fun! *Looks forward to getting home from work to try and solve the puzzle*

Advantage of poly families # <N+1>: More people to comment, more chances for the book, which we can then share around!
Poly family advantages indeed, fordprfct. I believe I am now obligated to comment!
I'm in.
SQUEES! :D
Oh, I missed George and her non-plussed badassery A LOT <3 That's a great first chapter and an extra snippet (and ~secret codes were a really neat idea, even if my copies of Feed & Deadline are currently on another continent). So excited about the release date being moved closer! *counting days*
Commenting for the contest! Yay!
Oh my yes. But I will get a copy regardless, because I want to know more.
any resemblance this has to shameless book whoring is entirely coincidental
Commenting here!

All my excitement and anticipation!~
Pick me, pick me!

so.. commenting for free stuff :)

love this series so much. I read Deadline for 5 hours straight, the day after it came out, because I couldn't afford my own copy :/ but now I want the free one... :)
Commenting. Can't wait!
Squee! That was fun, and now I'm jones-ing for the rest of the book (as intended.)
*flails arms*

I'm moving on May 21st, and while packing I've had to institute a "no more books until after I move" policy.

May 22nd, I know what the first book I buy will be.
Yay! Blackout! I really can't wait!
Woo! Thanks!
