InCryptid: the beat goes on.

It is with extreme pleasure and with no small degree of squeaky joy that I announce that the next three InCryptid books have been acquired by DAW Books. I KNOW RIGHT?! The next three books are:

Half-Off Ragnarok
Pocket Apocalypse
Professional Gore-eography

Cryptids and cuckoos and field guides, oh my! Words really can't express how insanely happy I am right now. I'm going to be working with the same team at DAW, which means I know I will have great editorial, fantastic in-house support, and a whole lot of sheer bonus fun. I'm so excited that this story gets to continue; you get to meet more of the family, and see where things go next. You get to hang out with Alex! And go to Australia! And and and...

And now, in the words of the Aeslin mice...

This makes me SO happy. I read DA at a difficult period (I had to move out of my house for the earthquake repairs to begin) and it instantly brightened my outlook. I even parcelled it out over three days so I didnt devour too quickly and be unsatisfied :)

I loved this book much so that it has instantly gone onto my Desert Island list and is probably going to be #3 on my Comfort Reads (Blue Sword is #1 and Paladin of Souls is #2 McKinley and Bujold)

Yes I am TOTALLY GOING TO BUY ALL THE BOOKS!!!

AWESOME~! XD My favourite independent bookstore already has my request for any and all InCryptid books to be ordered for me, so it's LOVELY to have confirmation that there will be several more. (The owner and I also had a fun discussion about Discount Armageddon's cover and why it is awesome.)
