Wow, that's really gorgeous- and she looks about how I feel right now, exhausted and pissed off at the world.

Of course her reasons are probably considerably different from mine (fairy troubles vs. Chaucer troubles)...

The cover looks cool. The title makes me think of a mashup between October Daye and the Honorverse, which would be insane, and possibly also awesome :)

Also, the difference between this and Discount Armageddon's cover is HILARIOUS!

I thought my most recent cover--I'm with a small epublisher--was pretty darned good, but you're right, I do think this is the best one you've had so far for the series. It really -looks- like her.

Any word on audiobook version?

Cover looks very nice - think my favorite is still An Artificial Night, but I quite like the continuity of the jacket. And I echo your appreciation of the taste of the covers - I mean, I wouldn't even know these books have Strong Female Characters, she's always wearing a shirt!

You would need to contact Brilliance Audio. I announce when I know, but I honestly don't know if they're going to continue a series until we sign a contract. It's entirely and 100% out of my hands.

Beautiful! And I want to see the back cover now. :-) But - didn't her hair get lighter after the "upgrade"? Or am I misremembering?

It did, or at least, it got some random highlights. I think they're keeping her hair mostly the same so that it's recognizably the same character for casual readers.

Very beautiful. I really like the blue text and that weird space warp thing next to her.
And yay she gets to wear trousers! Its been skirts and fish tails for a couple books now. I was starting to worry for Toby that she would be a cat/centaur thing next.
