Welcome, one and all, to the Traveling Circus and Snake-Handling Show!

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you...

Tomorrow's Party Schedule!

5:00 PM: Setup, sound check, and final details. You can show up, but we may ignore you if you do. Sorry about that.
6:00 PM: Welcome to our party. We're done ignoring you now. Would you like some music?
6:30 PM: Perhaps you would like to win things.
6:40 PM: Now there will be cupcakes and autographing.
7:00 PM: More music?
7:30 PM: More prizes?
7:40 PM: Q&A and book discussion.
8:10 PM: Last music of the night.
8:40 PM: Let's raffle some more stuff off.
8:50 PM: Thanks and final questions before we close the evening.

This iteration of the Traveling Circus and Snake-Handling Show will be in the cafe; the bookstore will be open throughout the evening. The cafe will also be open, and they've promised to have plenty of bread and delicious pastry this time. Raffle tickets will be available through the two standard methods: show up, or buy something from the bookstore.

All performing musicians will have CDs for sale, because we're predictable like that. There will be cheese and cupcakes provided in the bookstore as part of the party, and a whole cafe full of delicious things to purchase and enjoy.

It's gonna be a good night. Hope to see you there.

the Traveling Circus and Snake-Handling Show

...hosted by Dr. Lao?
Not quite.
Will the circus be heading over to Phoenix afterward, or should I eat beforehand?
The circus died of ded.
Wish I could be there!
Me, too!
I have a sudden, fierce urge to make the six-hour drive. Calm thyself, Priscilla, you have too much work to do at home, and gas is stupidly expensive right now.

I hope you all have a SPECTACULAR time! Hail the Distribution of Cheese and Cake!
So close, and yet so far away...
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will see you there!
Yay!
Wish we could be there, hope everybody has fun.
It was awesome!
Planning my outfit already!
Glee. :)
Off topic in terms of party etc. but congratulations on all the success and joy!!

Am I missing something? I was so sure you said Discount Armageddon would be available on the release date in an electronic version. I have been in hospital and waited till I got home to try to order it. Amazon UK Kindle says there is only the paperback. I am trying very very hard not to buy paper books for reasons too numerous to mention but will if I have to. But I'd like a definite explanation first e.g. you haven't authorised an e-book or it will be released later.
Not Seanan but... International licensing is complicated. It all has to do with the publishers and licensing and stuff, and is absolutely outside of the author's control. E-version is available in the US, but apparently not in the UK.

Maybe get someone in the US to buy is and then e-mail it to you so you can sideload it? Probably not strictly legal, but might work.

One day I'll be on that side of the country. In the meantime, have fun!

I had to Do Something to my mom's computer the other day. She lives in Florida and I'm a Michigan girl, so I use a remote access program to log into her computer and do whatever it is that needs doing. This time it was a program install. Right before I logged out, I opened a browser window and brought up Discount Armageddon's Amazon listing, and left it on her screen.

Mom, today: So, that book you left on my computer..?

Me: Yeah?

Mom: I bought it.

Me: Good Mom.
Good, good Mom.

I began reading "Discount Armageddon" last night and loved it right off the bat. The first quote certainly set the tone. :-)
Yay!
Yaay!
Glee.
That was a blast! Thanks so much for having us and I am so excited for you! I will come visit! I will send you snail mails tomorrow, with the LOLdea I had regarding Toby.

Last night it hailed and we woke up and I said, "HAIL!"

Then I thought for a minute and said, "CHEESE AND CAKE!"

Forrest was a little confused. He wasn't there when you answered that question.
Apparently he heard me say "CHEESE AND TAPE." so that explains it!
Hee hee hee.
