GAH!! I am now thoroughly earwormed with the Inchworm Song!! *flails about*

"Velveteen vs. The Fright Night Sorority House Massacre Sleepover Camp, Part III" - are there parts I and II? Because I'd totally need to read those.
There are not. In fact, the story opens with a disclaimer about parts I and II being lost.

I'm looking forward to so much of what you've got coming out this year.

It's such a shame you're not coming anywhere even vaguely near the East Coast.
Pennsylvania and Toronto?

And now Danny Kaye and the Muppets are in my head. There are far worse things to be there...
Yay!
I am so very looking forward to all the Velveteen we're apparently getting this year. SO MUCH.
Not as much as last year, but a good chunk!
Must be odd to not be able to go to Wondercon as a local con this year.
It sucks. :(

Ooooo! I had not been planning to make Aggie-Con this year, but I think I will need to start making frantic travel plans!

With the idea of not making a fool of myself if I get a chance to meet you, exactly how is your name pronounced?
SHAWN-in. :)
Noo, I thought Blackout came out on May 1st! *flails*
It was never May 1st, I'm afraid; always absolute end of May, which makes it officially a June book. And I'm tired of getting upset email from the people who thought "May" meant "beginning of the month," so I'm shifting my goalposts.

Ooh, so you'll actually be in San Francisco in May?
Very likely.
Might I ask about the Subterranean version of "Countdown?" I had hoped it would hit at around the same time as Blackout, or at least this year.
Nothing has been announced, either by me or by the publisher.
Oooooooooooo Emerald City Comicon! I'm going to that! Got my tickets on my iphone right now.

:D

Mazel tov!! Happy to see you made the best seller list! Woot! I thoroughly enjoyed Discount Armageddon and look forward to reading more about Verity, and the mice! Hail! Now, if only you were coming to Orycon... ;)
Alas.
I am almost too excited for words about this year. And next year. Actually, all of the years are exciting.
Yay!

Hmm. I should see if World Fantasy Con will need people to help out, and possibly comp memberships to people who work enough hours... I've had that kind of arrangement with some other WFCs.
Good question!

Sadly, the lack of vacation time is a problem.
I just want you to know that if MIra Grant wins the P.K. Dick award, I will pout that you aren't there at Norwescon, once I'm done cheering.
Vixy will accept for me, though, and that's comedy gold.
Well, I read it this weekend, and you deserve it. Congratulations!

And thanks for the signed copy. It has a place of honor in my library.
Yay! And very welcome.
SEANAN.

You know Inchworm! That was my lullaby when I was a baby. My mom sang it to me after she saw Charles Aznavour sing it on the Muppet show! Even into my 20s I used to call her to have her sing it to me. It is My Song That Makes Everything Ok. I haven't met anyone before who knows it!

OMG!
Seriously? I grew up with it, there was some children's music tape my mom played for me as a kid with it on.
*goes digging*
And here's the version. Whee childhood memories. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2sKQReBgdI&feature=related

Dammit woman!

Now I have 4 projects of yours where I am feverishly awaiting the next installment!

Wasn't the Tobyverse, Newsflesh, and Velveteen vs. enough to torture me with?!? Now I have to wait for more InCryptid stuff too*?!?

Also; being poor sucks, otherwise I'd go to Emerald City. :/

*tortured as in I really like it and want more. Now. Right now. Also, I am sad that the only mice I've had to deal with have not been particularly religious,
I am glad to torture. :)
