Party rock is in the house tonight!

It is with great pleasure that I remind you all that the latest iteration of the Traveling Circus and Snake-Handling Show will be assembling this Saturday at San Francisco's own Borderlands Books. We'll be getting underway at 6pm, and rocking the roof until closing time comes and they kick us all out! Why are we partying?

To celebrate the release of Discount Armageddon, naturally.

There will be cake! There will be cheese! There will be music and a raffle and reading and some Q&A, and it will be a hootenanny of a good time, with a whole lotta hoot AND a whole lotta nanny! Bring your kids! Bring your siblings! Bring your slime monsters! We totally hope to see you there.

Oh, and: Caitlin Kittredge and Ben Macallan, both of whom are made of hammered awesome, will be at the bookstore before the Circus comes to town! Their event starts at three. Come early, and make a day of it!

Remember that Borderlands does take telephone and email orders, and would be happy to send you books signed by any of the lovely authors who will be haunting the store that day. Get a book already touched by pure awesome. Or, you know. Ink. The party starts Saturday at 6pm!

Cheese! And! Cake!

Sadly, there's just no way I can make it. Again. My LARP troupe actually convinced a convention that we were cool enough to be invited as actual for real guests, and I am frantically writing a new Dresden Files game for the 25th.
Dresden.... LARP? *perk*

There will be cheese, there will be cake, but will there be mice?
That would please the cats...
So Ben Macallan will arrive hammered and awesome?
Hmm. I'm not sure about that. It's possible that there is a way to get awesome hammered, after which it can be reshaped into Caitlin Kittredge or Ben MacAllan. (Although if the uniqueness proposition is correct, it's impossible to create Caitlin Kittredge or Ben MacAllan again, since they already exist. It is possible to create people with the same names, but they would be essentially different.)

My current dream is to plan a vacation so that I will be IN the SF area at the right time to attend just such an event, because travelling circuses and snake handling shows should have far out of town attendees, I think. Besides, who else can say that they have crazy people planning trips all the way from Wyoming to go to their booksigning, right? I hope this is a fantastic time with a huge turnout and that you never stop having them! (because it is going to take me some time to get this plan in motion, you understand) Brightest Blessings!
That would be awesome!
"Bring your slime monsters!"

Well, actually, that's just what I WOULD be bringing if I showed up Saturday. They've been lodging in my throat/nose/etc. for the past week now. Oh, sure, on one hand it would pass muster. "Did you bring enough slime monsters for EVERYBODY?" Well, yes, the potential for sharing this URI with EVERYBODY is there. But I'm thinking that there are times when being selfish is a virtue. These are currently MY slime monsters, and I'm not going to share them with my friends. So there. (Sticks out slime-covered tongue at people.) Go get your own.

I do, however, join-from-a-distance in the celebration of the release of DISCOUNT ARMEGEDDON.
Thank you for not sharing!
Went and bought discount arm., at Powells, finally. Sorry it took me so long to pick up.

I'll start reading it once I have caught up with my other reading.
Have fun at your party ^___^
Yay!
Wish I could be there! When will they invent a teleporter already?

Bet it will be a blast. Happy Book Party!
I tried to invent a teleporter, but the math defeated me.

Soon, I hope!
I have to tell you about a spooky thing that happened to me this morning.
I was on page 96 of Discount Armageddon, and read "According to the clock on the wall, it was approaching nine thirty in the morning"
I glanced at my clock and IT WAS APPROACHING NINE THIRTY IN THE MORNING"

Da,da,da, dum...
OoooooooOOooOOOOoooo...
Just so: I've started reading "Discount Armageddon" yesterday.....or rather: my friend made me read the first chapters aloud, and I was in love after the first page. Now I know what's going to be on my kindle on my way to Berlin tomorrow.
This ROCKS!!!
Yay, thank you!
I should learn to better schedule my trips to the Bay Area.
Seriously.
Party on Wayne!
*air guitar*
We'll be there, and are looking forward to it. Alas, I have yet to convince my siblings to come along, despite one of them living within walking distance. I have managed to get them to read & enjoy your Mira Grant books, so there's hope. :)
It's always a pleasure to see you.
