DISCOUNT ARMAGEDDON open thread!

To celebrate the release of Discount Armageddon, here. Have an open thread to discuss the book.

Seriously. If anyone comments here at all, THERE WILL BE SPOILERS. So please don't read and then yell at me because you encountered spoilers. You were warned.

You can also start a book discussion at my website forums, with less need to be concerned that I will see everything you say! In case you wanted, you know, discussion free of authorial influence, since I always wind up getting involved in these things.

Loved it! I especially love the whole "hero without superpowers" thing you were talking about (in one of the interviews you linked . . ? Can't rememeber which)--that's always one of my pet peeves, as well. I'd rather have training and skill than superpowers on my side. There's a reason Oracle, Black Canary, and Tim!Robin are three of my favorite superheroes.

Also, I picked this up, finished it in one night (not unusual), and then lent it to a friend . . . who gave it back the next day (very unusual!) with a grin and, "When's the next one?" To which I replied, "Next year, but here's Rosemary and Rue."
