To celebrate the release of Discount Armageddon, here. Have an open thread to discuss the book.

I keep envisioning what the opening of the book would be from Dominic's point of view....

Possibly rising at sunset, some kind of devotional ritual and preparedness before leaving on his "rounds". Lots of brooding about mankind's place in the world and his holy task. The slaying of the ahool. All is according to The Mission...

Then he suddenly encounters upside-down blonde in a skimpy outfit, pointing a gun at him, cheerily asking him if he's ever been shot in the head.

The poor boy never had a chance.
