DISCOUNT ARMAGEDDON open thread!

To celebrate the release of Discount Armageddon, here. Have an open thread to discuss the book.

You can also start a book discussion at my website forums, with less need to be concerned that I will see everything you say! In case you wanted, you know, discussion free of authorial influence, since I always wind up getting involved in these things.

Absolutely!

I did put the "Because crazy gets all the knives" comment into my LJ for others to enjoy. And I read long sections of it out loud to my SO. The section on Argentine Tango made me laugh until I choked.

P.S. - Icon love! I know what Kestrel's book says on it even if the print is too small to read in a 100x100 icon.

I have to admit, I am almost completely unfamiliar with ballroom dancing (Dancing With the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance? don't exactly go into dance history or why/how real dance competitions work) so for me, that section's funny, but more in the 'if this is real, we humans are loonies' sense.
