DISCOUNT ARMAGEDDON open thread!

To celebrate the release of Discount Armageddon, here. Have an open thread to discuss the book.

THERE WILL BE SPOILERS.

Seriously. If anyone comments here at all, THERE WILL BE SPOILERS. So please don't read and then yell at me because you encountered spoilers. You were warned.

You can also start a book discussion at my website forums, with less need to be concerned that I will see everything you say! In case you wanted, you know, discussion free of authorial influence, since I always wind up getting involved in these things.

Have fun!

Not finished yet, but so far I love it. How amazing is it that Seanan can write three strong female leads that are not pohotocopies of each other. Yes I see little bits of George in Verity, but they are such different people from each other. The awesome just never stops!

Also, I want some Aeslin Mice.
Yes. I would TOTALLY host a splinter colony of Aeslin Mice.
I'd love to as well, but I don't know how that would go seeing as I have two cats.
The hard part would be convincing them that the cats were priestesses of the Priestess, or some such, so they wouldn't eat them.
And that is the problem. How to protect my cats from the mice? ;D
Don't we all?
I think I want a friend who I can visit frequently to have a splinter colony. Kosh is quite enough insane enthusiasm for one house.
I'd love some Aeslin mice too -- except I'd have to explain to the black&white cat in the icon that she's not supposed to hunt them, and the hurt look I would get from her...
I have four cats, so I can't host a colony of Aesliln mice. I would love to have the Aeslin mouse devotional calendar available on twitter, but I expect typing is a problem for them.
There's always Google Calendar...and make it shareable. *ducks*
OMG. I do not use twitter, but if there was an Aeslin mouse devotional calendar, I WOULD LEARN HOW.

I'm not sure if I want to have a colony, or be reincarnated as one.
Okay, I totally want an Aeslin mouse devotional calendar too.

It would never get boring because it would change from year to year.
I would cheerfully pay to have access to an Aeslin Mice Devotional Calendar - online perhaps, with reminders. Commuting to work would be sooo much better if I was able to secretly know that today was the Feast of the Leftovers, celebrated in interpretive dance...
Well, archy managed somehow...
"Today is the anniversary of The Taming Of The Felines! Hail!"
"HAIL!"
...I really don't want to know what kind of rituals they would create from living with me.
It's been a mental game of mine for a while now to try to think what divinity the mice would bestow upon me and the people around me. (Women always being "The [X] Priestess" and men always being "The God of [some quoted phrase, usually]."
