For this giveaway, we're going to mix and match effort with laziness. Comment on this entry with why you—yes, you—should receive an ARC of the first InCryptid adventure. Be creative. Be insane. Whatever makes you happy. On Friday, at noon PST, I will use our friend the Random Number Generator to select a winner. I will then read through the entries and select my favorite as a second winner. Yes, it's totally arbitrary. But it's also stated right up front, so I don't feel bad.
This contest is open to all North American residents without any restrictions, and to non-North American residents who either a) have a North American mailing address or b) are willing to pay me postage. I do apologize for that, it's just that I can't afford to ship a lot of stuff overseas right now. And now...
Game on!

May I call you Randy? I know it might seem overly familiar, considering we've never met, but I feel like I already know you so well. (I mean in a completely non-creepy, cosmic connection sort of way, not a stalkery, I've-hacked-into-your-FBI-file sort of way. You get that, right? I knew you would.)
Anyway, Randy, I think that you and I could be really good friends. You see, Seanan wrote a new book (Have you read her books, Randy? Because they will blow your mind!), and she's giving away an ARC. Do you like cookies, Randy? Because I know how to bake some pretty delicious cookies, and they'd be all yours if you could help me out. All you have to do is select my number. Think about it.
Sincerely,
Your New BFF Alexis
P.S. If Seanan finds out we colluded to rig the randomly generated portion of her totally arbitrary giveaway, she might be less than happy, and if that happens she might come after you with a machete. Forewarned is forearmed.
