You and your arithmetic will probably go far.

So I leave for Disney World Friday morning at WHY GOD WHY o'clock, with my mother and my youngest sister in tow. Thank the stars we're flying Virgin America Main Cabin Select, which means I'll be able to climb onto the plane and lose consciousness before we even leave the tarmac. It may be the only thing that saves the lives of all those people in Orlando.

My mother and sister are so excited I'm not sure they're breathing anymore. I think they may be existing on pure anticipation. Which is a pretty neat trick, if you can pull it off. I can't. I still require food, and caffeine, and naps. Beautiful naps.

You can live off anticipation, but it's wicked distracting. More energizing than caffeine, though.

Josh and I are visiting his family in downeast Maine for Christmas. He set up plans to have us driving all over creation, and sleeping in a basement for two days. :/

I almost killed him.

The only thing that saved him was that I found this out by text. Had this been a face-to-face conversation, I'd need an alibi (and a LOT of bleach).

We got it worked out, thankfully, but I hope to never again have to remind my husband, who grew up in the area, that it snows in downeast Maine in late December.
