...ouch. That one (ahem) cuts deep.
Yay!

*sad*

It was a very nice story. I like your explanation of the Tooth Fairy, and the Truth Fairy.
Thank you.

You are very welcome.
Damn, but that was heartbreaking. I hate Ms. Truth Fairy, oh I do.
There have to be holes.
That was really beautiful. Thanks.
Very welcome.

I'm sure they'd welcome the affection.
Is this what you read from in the cafe at WisCon? I liked the piece *and* how you read it.
It is!
You and Vernor Vinge both have a special place in my heart for making me cry over giant spiders.
Awesome.
Oh, I heard you read that (minus the last section, I think?) at Wiscon. Awesome!
Yay!
Awwww...sad now. Seanan, you are the gift that just keeps on giving! Is it a bad thing that I would love to read more about Crystal, Chester and Naamen?
Nope.

Although Crystal's sort of done now.
Oh. Ouch. :(

That was beautiful, but ouch. :(
Yay. :)
This is wonderfully written. It leaves me wistful, and thinking very much of Wicked Girls forced back on the shelf.
That's what I was thinking of, too.
Just wow...
Yay!
Man, I hate fairies. First they go around stealing my stuff, and now this.
Heh.
This is awesome.
Thank you.
That was painful and sad, and my roommate is making fun of me for having emotions. Well done.
Smack your roommate with a sock full of butter.

Crying over here. In a good way, but nonetheless.... Ow.
Thank you.
wonderful story but oh yes so sad:( thanks for sharing it.
Thank you.
That was disturbing. Well crafted.
Thank you.
I am too old, I think, or too accepting of my oldness. I seem to be the only one here who respects the Truth Fairy and the job she has to do. Wonderful side bit there about how Fairies "take away." Never considered that before but very much in keeping with the nature of fairies.
I think they're necessary. I also tend to think that if someone reaches Crystal's age, they should be let go.
A) Thanks.

B) Have to go cry now.
Read this in "Other Worlds Than These" last night. I loved it right up until the end, when it felt like I'd been punched in the gut. Don't get me wrong, I still love it, but it really does make me sad in so many ways. I think it's worse for those of us who lean towards creative fields, since so many of us feel that inherent dissatisfaction with reality. Most everyone feels that way as a kid, but it lingers in some of us for a while longer. Thank you for this, though I both love and hate it. Cheers for those worlds we'll never remember again.
I am very glad you liked it, and that it hit you so hard. It hit me that way, too.
