Oh my, this is beautiful and now I want to reread One Salt Sea.
Yay!
That is gorgeous. I have come to expect nothing less from you.

Thank you for sharing!
Very welcome!
This is GORGEOUS.

And like others, I wouldn't have been spoiled had I read it first - at least, I don't think I would - but I also know there are people who latch on to hints *much* smaller than I usually do, so I appreciate your caution about posting things that might be spoilers, and careful labeling.
I really wanted the Selkie reveal to be a "oh, crap" moment, and yeah, some people grab the tiniest things.

I'm glad you like it.
For me it was an "... oh my *god* is this what I think ...!!" and then a "HOLY SHIT I WAS RIGHT OH FUCK" MOMENT.
Love the song. And I shall view it as a teaser, rather than a spoiler. =;o}
Aw, you're sweet. :)
Delightful! Also all of the sad!

I would guess that an all-Toby album would probably be for after the series is complete.
Yes.
Oh Wow.
Thanks!

I'm busy contemplating Spoilers of Things Unwritten, which sounds like some kind of mental cat's cradle, alternate futures dilemma.
Perhaps there is a song there?
That would be a fun story to write!
Lovely piece.

And I agree with the sentiment that is a teaser rather than a spoiler.
Thank you.
So so beautiful. That part of One Salt Sea was so heart wrenching and perfect and this song makes it even more so. I wish to hear you sing it some day. ♥
I will try to make that happen for you.

It's a lovely song, thank you for sharing it with us. I appreciate your concern about not spoiling things, even though I'm the sort who'd probably go "Oh! So THAT's what she meant there!" on reading the relevant book.
Fair enough!
I have chills. Ah, Connor...
I miss him. :(
Nice song! But I'm mostly here because I got the One Salt Sea audiobook last week, and have been listening to it in the car. And I just got to the point where Tybalt shows up for the first time, and I literally cackled for half and hour while Mary read him with such perfect arrogance, vulnerability, and humor. Man. Tybalt is the best! Thank you for writing!
Aw, yay! :)

Very welcome.
Beautiful.
Thank you.
