Lilly says that it's time for an open thread. Obey the Siamese. (Lilly also says that whomever caused her monkey to leave the house for an entire weekend will face her wrath. This is because Lilly is secretly a tiny medieval warlord in a fuzzy, soft, pettable coat. Who's the cutest destroyer? IZZIT YOU?!)
But anyway. Open thread! Say anything! Woo! Lilly says so.
Comment amnesty is on for this post, but I will be reading, and may reply anyway, because I'm wacky like that.
i got a cat just a bit ago, and we rent a house that has a carpeted loft/railings that are about seven feet off the ground. i swear it had to have been made with my bouncy monkey-like ball of feline grace in mind.
anyway, the other day we were sitting in our room watching tv and saw this:
i can't figure out if hanging upside down, curled around a railing and playing with his own tail means he's incredibly dumb or a genius among felines.
yeah, it's not the greatest picture. as i mentioned the railing for the loft is about seven feet off the ground and i was below on the couch. he did this for about an hour, he's a total derp lol.

Whoever shot it was at a lower level than the cat, hence the optical illusion :)
