I am so crazy excited about my new book, and my new series. I mean, of course, Discount Armageddon, the book that kicks off the InCryptid series. Well. Excited and scared. But things like this help with the fear a little bit. You wanna see something really pretty?

The cover artist is Aly Fell, who has the right mix of sexy, sweet, strange, and hysterically bizarre (and was actually my choice, thus proving that sometimes, you can have your cheesecake and eat it, too).
Awesome cover, very pretty. However her trigger discipline sucks. We will blame the artist for that minor flaw though (unless you have written her to put the finger on the trigger prematurely, in which case we will praise the artist for paying attention).

Sadly, after the "Ooh, pretty!" My next thought was "Why doesn't that knife have the hilt toward her wrist, so she could actually draw it easily?"
