The shirts are here! The shirts are here!

I got the call today from the shirt shop: my "Wicked Girls" shirts are finally finished, and I can pick them up today. (Well, technically, Ryan and Mia can pick them up on their way down the coast from Portland. Details are for wimps.) Since the Traveling Circus and Snake-Handling Show is at my house this weekend, and I'm in Michigan for Conclave next weekend, the mass mailing will not be commencing for at least ten days.

Which brings us to this post.

I realize that some people bought shirts as birthday presents, as holiday presents, or for other time-sensitive reasons. I'd really like to be able to get shirts out to those people as quickly as possible, despite the horror that is mailing out of order. So here's how this is going to work.

If you have an active need to receive your shirt sooner, rather than later, please reply to this post with the name on your order, and the reason that you need to get your shirt(s) at the front of the line. I can prioritize no more than fifty shirts in this manner, so: if I receive more than fifty requests for priority mailing, nobody gets it. Fifty requests is "I can do this," fifty-one is "oh, hell no." So please consider carefully before responding. At the same time, if you have a really legitimate reason to need early shipping, please let me know.

(PS: "I have an eight year old and she really really wants this before Halloween" is a legitimate reason, and one that has been emailed to me already. So just make sure I know what your circumstances are, and hopefully, you can be accommodated.)

In addition, please let me know, again including the name on your order, if you're going to be at Conclave or OVFF. I will be able to do hand-delivery at both conventions.

Shirts!

I would like to prioritize my order, if possible. I had ordered a shirt for a birthday present for a good friend, and the name on my order is Heather Fagan. (While I would like to be part of the 50 you're able to prioritize, I'm ok with being relegated to a later mass shipping.)
You are packed to mail, and will be going out ASAP!

Hi Seanan,
This is not a request for a faster shirt, but I realized I have moved since placing the order. What is the best way for me to update my mailing addy to make this easier on you?

Send an email to the merch address that contacted you to arrange shipping updates. That way, it'll be added to the spreadsheet correctly.

Do you have an idea when the general shipping will happen?

One of the shirts in my order is a gift for a early December birthday (it's okay if she gets it early but there's obviously no pressing need for her to get it well before then). I'd really like it her to have it by then but I don't think I need to ask for expedited shipping since I suspect you'll want them out of your storage spaces before that point?...
It's starting now, but is hampered by lack of shipping supplies and the absence of certain color/size combinations. I don't know how long the overall mailing will take.
My birthday is the day before Halloween, and I was very much hoping to have my shirts before then, if possible. If it's not, don't worry about it.
Feel free to put me ahead of anyone who has a reason. Now, my mailman who will be getting accosted on a daily basis might feel differently. ;)

Then again, he's the one I'll run into while doing errands and he'll tell me the exact contents of my mail for the day ("Hi. You got your phone bill, a letter from your grandma and what I think is a birthday present from that guy in Canada.") Kinda creepy considering I don't even know his name.
I kinda love your mailman.

Seanan,

I will be at OVFF and will happily accept hand-delivery. I do not need priority or time-bound delivery (so, if your suitcase runneth over before my shirts get packed, enh, it'll get here eventually).

I am also willing to accept Mongol Post for Chicago area denizens I see frequently (looks pointedly at qnofhrt) or who can negotiate a mongol-chain that routes through me. Carriage capacity is not a concern for me, as we're driving, so the upper limit will be how many shirts you can schlep.

Did these reach you safely?

I do not have an active need for priority handling. However, if delivering to Conclave is preferable (to you) than mailing, you know where I'll be. :-) (On the other hand, if one more thing in your luggage is going to be a hardship, I can happily wait 'til the regular mailing!)

You're down for delivery at 'Clave.

Cool that the shirts are here! Hurrah!

Since if I do give one as a gift, it will be for Christmas, I think I'm very cool with waiting for my slot on the list to come up.

Hmmm. I am not going to be at ConClave, but my best friend is. Can I delegate a pickup? If not, no worries. If so, I can provide contact info and secret passwords.
Yes, you can! I'll need to know a) the name on the order, and b) the name of the person doing the picking up.

The name on my order is Kate Keith-Fitzgerald and I plan on attending Conclave.

Where have they posted their scheduling and timing? As I really want to attend to hear you but their website isn't updating. Thank you.
I don't know that the schedule is up yet. My concert is going to be on Friday; I have your shirt packed for delivery at-con.

I'll be attending Conclave, and I'd love to pick up my shirt there, so long as your suitcase isn't overfull.
It's under Judith Broutin-Cook.
I am totally squeeing right now!
It was a fab con. :)
You can actually de-prioritize my order, if you like. I had weight loss surgery, so I deliberately ordered a size that I won't be able to wear for some time.
Assuming this was a choice, good for you! (If it was not, I'm sorry.)

I will be at both ConClave and OVFF, and would be happy to pick up my order at either, or can wait for shipment, whichever is easier for you. It's either under D Taylor Rodriguez or Deanna Rodriguez (I tend to give the first, but I'm pretty sure my PayPal says the second.)

You can haz, yes?

Well... it depends on when the shipping would otherwise happen, but one of mine is a birthday present that it would be awesome if I have by Oct 28th. (If I don't, I juggle presents a bit and give her that for Christmas, so... it would be awesome, but if I end up being 51, don't worry about it.)

Name on order is Rebecca Newman
It turns out one of the shirts in your order is one of the ones that wasn't delivered in the first batch. So the first three are packed, and we're waiting on the fourth.

I'll be at ConClave! Yay!

Not inclined to post here with the name on my driver's license, so should I email via your website, or to the addy that sent me correspondence re: my order?
The addy that sent you correspondence, please!
No priority needed, however if delivery would be easier & you have hauling space I will be at OVFF this year :) Order under Xap Esler
And now you have your shirts!
Didn't want to have to be in on this list, but I am going to Asia at the end of the month for several months, so if possible, it would be great if I can get mine sooner.

You should have my updated address, but actually either would be fine until the 31st. Please let me know if it won't be before the end of the month so I can make alternate arrangements.

Here's a suggestion for a postage-free solution to getting my shirt to me: if anyone's going to both OVFF and SFContario (in Toronto in November), I'll be at the latter.

It was lovely seeing you at ConClave (or, as I like to call it, SeananCon). :)
