Current CD stock levels.

Two orders of business!

First, CD Baby has confirmed receipt of the Red Roses and Dead Things restock. Perfect for Halloween or any other time of year, this is my mad science and horror album. It's not out of print, but it's getting harder to find. Order now if you want to be sure of getting a copy in the next few months.

Secondly, I've re-stacked the CD shelf, which meant sorting and doing inventory on all albums. After putting everything back where it belongs, this is what I have left:

252 copies of Red Roses and Dead Things.
197 copies of Wicked Girls.
12 copies of Pretty Little Dead Girl.

Please be aware that in each case, the remaining stock represents the entire print run of the album. All three can still be acquired from filk dealers, but I'm looking at selling out of Pretty Little Dead Girl in 2011, and probably selling out of Wicked Girls in the same time period.

Wicked Girls will be reprinted when it sells out, but I don't know how long that will take. Ditto Red Roses and Dead Things. Pretty Little Dead Girl was a convention album, and will NOT be reprinted.

This has been your CD updated for today.

Ha! I bought the Roses album for me and a copy of Wicked Girls for my niece. I win.
Apologies for my lack of history around this, what is the significance of these CD? Are they filk from cons?
It's okay. :) Everybody needs context sometime!

I'm a member of the filk community; I have two studio-recorded albums, and one live convention album. I try to keep people posted as to availability, so I don't get yelled at when things sell out.
Pretty Little Dead Girl was recorded at OVFF the year Seanan was toastmaster.

The other three are independently produced studio CDs of Seanan's overflowing songbook. Stars Fall Home was the first, and Wicked Girls the most recent. Aside from writing fantastic fiction and essays, she writes music of an equal caliber, and has a lovely singing voice. Her music is some of the best US filk has to offer and is topical both in and outside the genre.

If you haven't gone and looked, the songbook section at seananmcguire.com is awe inspiring - and a little daunting in sheer volume.
Well hrmf...there was no answer visible to me when I posted....
I have successfully ordered Wicked&Red and have a backorder for Pretty. I am really looking forward to having them in my hot little hands. *so excited*

(also, CDBaby is wonderfully easy to use, hooray!)
They are! It's awesome.
I've also got some of several albums, but will have to check to see which ones when I get home later today, in case anyone is interested.
I do direct people to check with their local filk dealers.
Thank you.

By the way, did I tell you that I had one person buy sixteen copies of one of your albums? He cleaned me out of it. I forget which one.
Mwa ha ha.. ran over to CDBaby and have completed my collection with Red Roses... Thank you Seanan!
Still cannot find my PLDG package (I pre-ordered and got bonus CDs), and I know I had them in the house last summer, and tried to find them near Thanksgiving and couldn't, and have been searching ever since! Grrr.
Oh no!
I have birthday monies! Any chance I can buy all three from you directly at the release party for OSS? (Sometimes this is easier for people, sometimes not.)
Sure-sure. Just corner me when we get to the venue.
How much are the CDs? Is there anywhere I can listen to a sample of the songs on the CDs before I buy?
They're $15 each; there are samples on the CD Baby pages.
Yay! I checked for Red Roses and Dead Things a few days ago, and there wasn't a page for it at CDBaby, so I'd thought it was sold out. I is so happy!
They disable the page if the CD is out of stock for a certain amount of time. I'm glad you're happy!
