ONE SALT SEA open thread!

To celebrate the release of One Salt Sea, here. Have an open thread to discuss the book.

Dunno about ruffle his hair. But definitely scritch him behind his ears.

If he was a cat my urge would be to bury my face in his fur, and I suspect his reaction to that would be to either squirm at the indignity or attempt to remove my face, alas.

I suppose I could settle for an ear scritch.

Well, you *start* with an ear scritch. And more ear scritches. And some under the chin. Once they've climbed up and laid down over your chest and shoulder, and are purring contentedly, THEN you can bury your face in their fur. That's how it goes with mine, anyway.
