Declaring comment amnesty.

In the interests of not giving myself something else to cry about the week before I have a book release, I am officially declaring comment amnesty on yesterday's post about the situation with the cats. Thank you all so much for your kind words and advice. Your support means worlds. But if I try to answer every comment, my head will explode, and nobody wants that.

Thanks for understanding.

I am declaring amnesty for myself from reading all of those comments, even tho I like my fellow Seanan fans a lot. But I only have one eye, and it has cataracts, and there are eight pages now. I got thru three.

I am glad to see how many of your readers love you as much as I do. And let me remind you, Secret Gay Boyfriends do not always need replying to. Sometimes love is best shown in caring silence. You know I am always herre, and I know you are always caring, even when deadlines and releases and, unfortunately, trolls make you busy.

I just had my 1 yr old MC I showed you once fixed, cause I am too ill to care for more kittens and such. His parents, both now fixed as well, still sleep on my bed, on top of their youngin. They are the best parents I have ever met.

While I am done with the kittening, the night of Merlin's birth was the most magickal of my life. And I'm a witch! LOL Because my lower body does work, I had to drag myself to the room Missy went into labor in. She was crying for me, even tho Jack and Mom were with her.

Missy clung to my arm with each birth. (5) I helped her push, rub her tummy, calmed her with singing, and helped her eat each placenta and chew threw each cord. This was her first , and only, litter, and she was scared and confused.

As I pulled each kitten from their sacks, I held them as she licked them and nuzzled them into breathing and life. When halfway thru, Merlin was born, he and I knew from the instant I pulled that sack open that he was my baby and my heart.

The second we were sure it was over, and she was resting while they nursed, he tried crawling to me. He is the joy of our household now, and every one of his four siblings went to loving, responsible homes. All were fixed, as was my wish. I still have visitation rights with two, as they went to my sister and step daughter.

I rescued the rest of my brood from the river. It flows behind my house, up here in the mountains. Cats propagate incredibly there, and get shot by the farmers for eating chicks. So, I have a herd. And I love my rescues.

But I would not trade that night, when my familiar spirit came right from the womb to my hands.

It is insane that someone would wish me, or him, harm...just because he was bred, and not rescued.
