HOME IMPROVEMENT: UNDEAD EDITION available now.

This is a week full of things! For example, it's full of Home Improvement: Undead Edition, edited by Charlaine Harris and Toni Kelner. And Home Improvement: Undead Edition is, in turn, full of things. Specifically, it's full of awesome urban fantasy and paranormal romance stories...

...including a brand new October Daye adventure.

That got your attention, didn't it?

"Through This House" is set chronologically between Late Eclipses and One Salt Sea. It is specifically NOT required reading (something I didn't think would be fair in a side story), but it provides a bridge between the two books, and lets you have a sneak peek at Goldengreen as it was when Toby and the gang first came to claim it. See Toby be cranky, May be damp, Quentin be awesome, and Danny be large! Enjoy happy Barghest fun times! And best of all, get a little more Toby for your troubles.

Home Improvement: Undead Edition is available now. I could not be prouder to be a part of this book, you guys. Seriously, being asked was just...was like...it was just absolutely a dream come true, and I remain stunned and happy and just totally amazed that I got to be a part of it.

Things!

I have this book in my hot little hands and have already read the Toby story, which is truly excellent. Now I'm going through the rest of the book, and wow, there are some really fun and fascinating stories in it. Very nice!

And having a little Toby helps the wait for One Salt Sea. :)
Yay!

woooohooooo!
Hee.

I have not slept in 48 hours. I need to get through the day. So, e-book acquired.

Thank you for the reminder. This will keep me awake on the parts of my commute home that involve public transportation in bits too small to fall asleep on and still make my connections.

Awesomesauce.

It arrived at work sometime last week, but I haven't read it yet, it's waiting for me to finish "Tales from the Ur-Bar"...
I applaud your patience.
Got mine when it came out. I was waffling over buying this one until I found out about your story and that pushed me over. :) I'm a freak tho and read even anthologies from start to finish straight so I'm haven't quite gotten to the Toby story yet but I will soon. Can't wait!
That's okay! I'm a freak, too.
I bought both the hardcover and the Kindle edition. I really loved the story, and I can't wait until ONE SALT SEA comes out!
Oooh. Sounds quite good. :)
Thank you. :)
Book came in the mail on Tuesday. Started to read the stories in order, but went for immediate gratification and skipped over to the Patricia Briggs story and Toby's story. Yay!

I enjoyed your story very much!
Yay!
Got it, loved it, loaned it to a friend who was in desperate need for a book (ref). The timing on getting the book was excellent, in fact.
Awesome. I am glad.
Happy Barghest fun times sound like a reason to do the Snoopy dance. ^_^
Totally.
It is specifically NOT required reading (something I didn't think would be fair in a side story)

Me neither. Charlaine Harris did that between books, and if I hadn't been reading the books back to back to back, I would've SWORN I'd missed a book. When I found out it was a short story, I was ticked. I lost a LOT of steam for that series then...
Is that why I felt like I was missing stuff! I never even thought to look for side stories.
