Maybe Simon will show his hand, though Toby won't like it. And Toby and Tybalt will get all of their feelings out in the open. There should be a whole lot of mayhem and destruction, which is always awesome. And I can't wait for Maeve, Titania, and Oberon to get into the picture!

Pretty sure Toby will be deprived of coffee, Cagney and Lacey will be disdainful, Spike will be rather adorable, and Tybalt will be too cool for words. Oh, and something awful will happen to Toby's car. Sorry for the straight forwardness, I'm writing a paper right now and I'm not feeling terribly amusing right now.

In One Salt Sea I am fairly certain that I will become one of the major side characters that helps save the day. A deus ex machina type plot device, but believable since I'm so absolutely awesome. Definitely.

Toby finds herself in the sea... where there is no coffee. Connor tries to bring her some in a specially airtight thermos, but Tybalt fearing the coffee will successfully win him Toby's love, forces Conner to fight him in a topless grappling match.
Meanwhile, Toby solves the case, kicks ass, shows up to see them fighting and says "Not this again!" Then goes to Dunkin Donuts and gets her coffee.
Also... While trying to solve the case, people try to kill Toby. A lot.
The end.

Also, May and her GF elope to New York and get married.

Tybalt has an accidental drunken one-night stand with May, mistaking her for Toby (he was really drunk) which forces them all to work out just what *is* this relationship thing anyway.

Or not. I'll settle for a Tybalt/Toby kiss.

Well, seeing a gigantic Kraken invite Toby to tea would be wonderful, of course.

...

Barring that, I'd like to see more time with Toby and Tybalt getting to know each other and explore their feelings about each other, though I suspect Connor's the one who's going to get most of the opportunities, all things considered.

Tybalt throws a hissy fit about Toby getting saltwater stains all over his good jacket. They have a raging fight that ends in a RAGING KISS and do further damage to good leather. Oops.

I don't have specifics, but I bet it'll be something that finally pushes all of us Toby Daye fans over the edge into fierce infighting regarding Connor vs. Tybalt, a la Twilight. Team Connor oboy!

On a more serious note, I think Connor's number might be up. He's sympathetic enough to serve as a good strong suckerpunch and redundant enough to not wreck the world with his passing.

Hmmm. I could say I think Toby will get wet, or that she'll get crapped on by life, but that's a little on the easy side.

I think Tybalt will end up having to go underwater, and be irritable about it. (Either that or we won't see much of him, but I can hope. Heh.)

First, I would like y'all to know that I am not a violent person but that beach *cough*, I mean Fae Queen, makes me see bright red sometimes. So I would very much like to see Toby punch the Queen of the Mists in the face.

But sadly if that doesn't happen, I would like to see Tyblat lay another smooch on Toby just to see her shocked reaction.

Let's see...
We'll go with one think, and one hope.
I think Toby is going to wind up having to knock Conner unconcious at least once this book.
I hope that the budding relationship with Tybalt continues to grow and expand, not be dashed upon the rocks of One Salt Sea.

Most seas have different salinity, and colors. Am interested in which salt is used in the book.

Not quite made sailing all 7 seas in the world, but did a few of them.

Tibalt will go in swimming. Probably not voluntarily. Or at least under extenuating circumstances. Either that or the Leather Jacket will be ruined (ruined, I tell you)!

I suspect there will be multiple occassions of Toby inadvertently falling into water--slipping, being pulled, pushed, and probably at least one time having to leap in by choice. It would be fun to see Tybalt getting that treatment, though. Hard to be suave when you're drippy.

I think Toby will wreck Tybalt's jacket. Accidentally, of course. Actually, let me rephrase that: I think Tybalt's jacket will become wrecked while Toby has it. Because I'm pretty sure it won't be Toby that does it.
