Yes, it's time for the moment you've all been waiting for: the moment where I give away the first ARC of One Salt Sea, the fifth book in the October Daye series. Today seems like a good day to open the contest, being as it's the summer solstice and all. Longest day of the year means free stuff for somebody! So...

Who wants to win an ARC? About what I figured. I'll have some more effort-intensive contests in a little bit, but first up, it's our old favorite, the random drawing. To enter, please do the following:

2) That's all.

Please don't comment going "pick me, pick me," if you could be so kind. I don't pick anyone. The random number generator picks the winner, and it is a cruel mistress which has never yet picked a comment containing "pick me." Instead, why not tell me why you're excited about this book? I'd really love to know.

I'm excited about this book because I want to see how Toby gets a fish tail and how annoyed she is by it!

I can't wait to read One Salt Sea, I'm so excited. I absolutely love the series, love all the characters, especially Tybalt :D

I am looking forward to this book so much! I thought the Late Eclipses cover couldn't be topped for awesomeness, and yet it has!

Each one of these gets better than the one before it. I'm excited. I'd love to read a copy early, but if not you'll sell me at least one copy anyway. Thanks for writing them and I hope you become famous and wealthy from writing.

I am excited about One Salt Sea because I really enjoy the Toby series and want to know what happens next . Also, my boyfriend has been reading previous Toby books and as soon as my pre-order arrives and I've whipped through it, I can give it to him and I love talking books with him :)

Wow that's a lot of comments. Ok so I'm waiting for the book because I have an inherent adoration of Toby and her friends, and I can't wait to read about the thing she has going on with both Connor and Tybalt as well as its resolution. Not to mention, Connor seems to have replaced Quentin male sidekick extraordinaire- what does that mean? The blurb at the back of the book hints of a deliciously interesting story to come, and I can't wait to read it!

I love Toby. I love Toby's world, and her friends. Everything is so beautifully detailed and interesting. I just love snuggling up with these books after an exhausting day. <3

Any Toby book is a reason to be excited. In fact any Seanan or Mira book is a reason to get excited. Heck, I'll read your shopping lists if you post them, I'm sure you'll make those exciting as well...
