Yes, it's time for the moment you've all been waiting for: the moment where I give away the first ARC of One Salt Sea, the fifth book in the October Daye series. Today seems like a good day to open the contest, being as it's the summer solstice and all. Longest day of the year means free stuff for somebody! So...

Who wants to win an ARC? About what I figured. I'll have some more effort-intensive contests in a little bit, but first up, it's our old favorite, the random drawing. To enter, please do the following:

Please don't comment going "pick me, pick me," if you could be so kind. I don't pick anyone. The random number generator picks the winner, and it is a cruel mistress which has never yet picked a comment containing "pick me." Instead, why not tell me why you're excited about this book? I'd really love to know.

The Toby Daye series is one my favorites. :) Each book to me, is better than the last. Who doesn't love a series that has action, humor, and romance? ;)October is awfully far away (actually in all honesty, the older I get, the faster time goes..Dammit, my parents were right .. lol.) Would love to have that sneak peak.

I've read each book as soon as it came out, despite the hundred older books waiting to be read and feeling so depressed that I've bypassed them for October. And now I need to find out in what more ways she can be reckless, get hurt and save her world. And will she and Tybalt finally get together? You know; we don't; and I'll be one of the first to find out whether or not I get a free copy.

So I'm really excited about OSS because A) you're awesome, B) Toby and her whole cohort of pals are awesome, and C) I'm really excited about Little Mermaid!Toby. Because mermaids rock, and Toby rocks which means this whole book promises to be rock squared. Also it's going to be an undersea adventure, just like the new Little Mermaid attraction at Disney's California Adventure, and since I can't have one right now, it would very much help to have the other!

I flat out love Toby. I flat out love urban fantasy stories, and while I have nothing against werewolves an vampires, I love that the Toby books are so different. I love the world you've created for the books - so - that is why I am excited for One Salt Sea!

I'm excited to see what happens next with Toby - how does she come into her new powers? Does she get a chance with Connor, Tybalt, or both? Probably not original, but the things I'm looking forward to :)

I would love to have an ARC of this book, simply because I have been an avid reader since Rosemary And Rue first came out. I regularly buy your books as soon as they are released. I am truly enjoying this series. Thank you
