Various deal announcements!

You've already heard about these, because you're wonderful and also here, but some of my deal announcements have finally gone public. Hooray! Namely...

The first two books in the InCryptid series, described here by Romantic Times as being about "a family of cryptozoologists who are trying to ensure the survival of endangered mythological species." They also call me "often scary, but always wonderful." I can deal with that as a description, personally.

Books six and seven in the Toby Daye books, which Romantic Times describes as "the adventures of a half-fairy in a dark and dangerous human world." Toby is a little more afraid of Faerie than the human world. At least the human world comes with coffee. A Toby without coffee is like a day without sunshine. Or oxygen. Or gravity.

Great news and I'm glad that it's officially out there so we can talk about it all here. BTW my wife and I both read Deadline and adored it. I've put a review up on my blog as well. Makes the wait for Blackout all the harder.

It's been a real pleasure watching your career take off. I remember friending you because you said something funny on

metaquotes; I don't remember the exact date but you'd not long released PLDG and I bought it based on reading the lyrics, so it was quite some time ago.

And now you're here (Toby six! Toby seven! Yay! And I am so looking forward to reading the InCryptid books!), and you're still sharing the process with us with your work-in-progress lists and everything else. I just really wanted to thank you so much for that, because I know you work your ass off writing your books and your songs on top of life-in-general work, so it's amazing that you're still blogging and commenting to us and so on as well. If I ever get published I hope I can show that level of commitment to my fans too.

This is the first and likely only chance I've had to watch someones dreams blossom and flower to such a degree.
I gives me hope, and leaves me a bit awed.
