To celebrate the release of Deadline [Amazon]|[Mysterious Galaxy], here. Have an open thread to discuss the book.

You can also start a book discussion at my website forums, with less need to be concerned that I will see everything you say! In case you wanted, you know, discussion free of authorial influence. I will probably answer a great many comments. I may not answer all of them.

Hmm, I had missed it right up to this thread (no, Shaun using her name didn't clue me in either, I just assumed that Georgia was the closest to him emotionally and he was reacting to Becks as an emotional equivalent).

Me too! The thought that they were romantically involved had crossed my mind, but I rejected it. Then a friend said, "uhh, no," and I immediately came over to this thread to gape at the answers.

I assumed my Shaun/Georgia theory was just my constantly-shipping brain. AHAHAHAHA I HAVE PROOF NOW AHAHAHAHA.

*clears throat* Sorry, I'm just not used to my 'ships being confirmed. I'm just going to go quietly re-read.
