To celebrate the release of Deadline [Amazon]|[Mysterious Galaxy], here. Have an open thread to discuss the book.

I am halfway thinking if you could become immune by being near a resv. condition being... ...mid-size/larger dogs* would TOTALLY be the way to go (ignoring, of course, the amount of animals that would have to be gone through to get a workable one). Long-term close contact.

*large enough to work, small enough to not have the short lifespans of the huge breeds

Part of the issue is fluid transfer. You'd have to lick the dog a lot.

Though... ...lick my dog or die? Hrm... people do a lot of weird crap. My cousin loves dog kisses as it is. .cringe.
... wouldn't work if they just licked you a lot, eh?
