To celebrate the release of Deadline [Amazon]|[Mysterious Galaxy], here. Have an open thread to discuss the book.

This one didn't gut-punch me lik eFEED did, but not sure whether that's that I don't identify with Shaun as much or the fever. Now that I have antibiotics, I'm reading it again. Although oddly enough, not that I'm also on prednisone my immune system is depressed so I'm actually MORE likely to amplify if exposed.

And I wondered if CDC cloning plus extensive research time with her corpse was going to result in Clone-Georgia...so I feel vaguely clever.
