To celebrate the release of Deadline [Amazon]|[Mysterious Galaxy], here. Have an open thread to discuss the book.

It's said in-text that there would be zombie whales "if there are any left alive down there", so, yes.

(One assumes, since whales and dolphins are as bright as humans, that they would have worked out ways to spot/escape zombified dophins and whales, but until we get oceanographers' survey data, we won't know for sure.)

They'd probably be able to spot and escape zombified dolphins and whales, but how does one maintain "escape" from something that is relentless and will keep going until something stops it or it falls apart?
