To celebrate the release of Deadline [Amazon]|[Mysterious Galaxy], here. Have an open thread to discuss the book.

But "Adaptive Immunities" is so foreshadow-y that it's awesome!

Though it makes you wonder why Shaun picked that BEFORE the events of this book.

I think it was a method of trying to cope.

Like he was saying he had adapted to be immune to shock because nothing after shooting Georgia dead would ever shock him again.

That's how it parsed to me, anyway.
