To celebrate the release of Deadline [Amazon]|[Mysterious Galaxy], here. Have an open thread to discuss the book.

I'm turning 28 in a month and two days and I deliberately sought out Flowers in the Attic to see what the fuss was about. It left a bad taste in my mouth; Deadline did not. (Well, not about the incest, anyway. I freaked out a bit over the amplified spider, because funnel-webs. Like Australia needs to be any more lethal.)

Heh. Shortly before Our Gracious Hostess left on her Worldcon trip last year, I commented on her "Australia makes you die" tag, noting that an Aussie expatriate friend of mine had an "Australia will kill you" tag.
