To celebrate the release of Deadline [Amazon]|[Mysterious Galaxy], here. Have an open thread to discuss the book.

Seriously. If anyone comments here at all, THERE WILL BE SPOILERS. So please don't read and then yell at me because you encountered spoilers. You were warned.

You can also start a book discussion at my website forums, with less need to be concerned that I will see everything you say! In case you wanted, you know, discussion free of authorial influence. I will probably answer a great many comments. I may not answer all of them.

I had to come back from lunch at work JUST BEFORE the ranch, and let me tell you, knowing what is going to happen and then going back on the phones? Not a recipe for a happy Lunatic.

He actually tried to make me go before the reveal and I was like NO. I WILL DO IT AFTER I FINISH THE CHAPTER. Then he tried to make me do chores while I was in the middle of Deadline and I went NO. THIS ONE IS NOT A REREAD. TOO SUSPENSE TO STOP.

It is a recipe for all-body-hair-standing-on-end, let me tell you.

I was re-reading the ending of FEED in a Starbucks, eyes the size of saucers and weeping quietly into my rainbow-on-black paisley handkerchief. I have upgraded FEED to 2.5 handkerchiefs due to the stable scene, as well as Buffy and the ending.
