DEADLINE open thread. Have a party.

To celebrate the release of Deadline [Amazon]|[Mysterious Galaxy], here. Have an open thread to discuss the book.

THERE WILL BE SPOILERS.

Seriously. If anyone comments here at all, THERE WILL BE SPOILERS. So please don't read and then yell at me because you encountered spoilers. You were warned.

You can also start a book discussion at my website forums, with less need to be concerned that I will see everything you say! In case you wanted, you know, discussion free of authorial influence. I will probably answer a great many comments. I may not answer all of them.

Have fun!

I actually didn't want to include the sample chapter; I wanted to leave you with that last line for a year. Orbit thought I might get death threats.
Orbit might have been right. It's likely going to be easier to live with the next year with "How long have I been a clone?" rather than "My name is Georgia Mason, and what the fuck is going on?"

You're still getting death glares from two states away. But they are less potent death glares. By a little bit.

Also, finishing the book before all my friends? GAHHH!!!! But it's fun to guess where they are by the potency of the curses coming in to me via text messages. I'm usually right. A friend just got to "She would have gotten better" and finally started to curse you.
I'm bringing people together!
I do love how people are sharing with each other their latest AUGHHHH!-moment updates. :)
Nobody in my house has read it yet and my husband won't right now. That's "AUGH!" enough on its own!
Me, too.

I was never a Whedonite. It was originally "Chris, you BASTARD" in our house (I was a hard-core X-Phile). Then we started watching Babylon 5, and it became "Joe, you BASTARD."

I will not be surprised to hear "Seanan, you BASTARD" once gridlore catches up on his reading. ;-)
Well, I thought it really hard here yesterday.
This?

Pleases me.
