Reviews posted to Goodreads, Facebook, my DW and my LJ.
And that said:
Ouch, man. We couldn't just find out Shaun was sleeping with Georgia some other way. But at least he had enough self control not to scream George's name en flagrante. Glad Becks got that much. Yeesh.
I adore Mahir. I love him to bits. Too bad his wife Nan doesn't seem to be on board.
I wanted to like Kelly so much after the events of the first book. And by the time she died in Memphis, I did. I admire you for that even as I am very displeased with you for making me go from hating her to liking her just before killing her.
Alaric kinda got on my nerves.
The bulldogs were adorable and cute.
Voice!Georgia rocked, even as it made me whimper and wince for poor Shaun, knowing his sanity slippage got worse if she went from italics to in quotes.
Maggie rocks too.
And could you have been more cruel describing the delicious Indian dinner?
You made my unexpected allergy attack day much better, thank you and WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO WAIT A YEAR FOR BLACKOUT OMG OMG OMG

I hope maybe we see her in BLACKOUT going "Shaun Mason, you give me my husband back NOW." or something like that. She looks like George, which is why Mahir was finally able to say yes to the marriage. I imagine there must be something of George's personality there too.

All things considered, it's not surprising. Mahir accepted an arranged marriage because Nan looked like Georgia. It's hard to imagine that working out well for the first year, regardless of whether she knows or not.

And Mahir seemed very upset about the possibility of losing her -- before he finally got on the plane, at which point he decided losing her was pretty bad, but not as bad as a global conspiracy.

Thank you.
You're very welcome.

The only reason I wasn't surprised by some of the surprises is that I read FEED four times before reading DEADLINE, so I could see things starting to come together that I definitely would not if I hadn't read the first book FOUR TIMES.
I'm waiting for the shock to wear off (and maybe to get some Indian food) before I dive right into a reread of DEADLINE, but I imagine I will reread that a few times before BLACKOUT.

Sadface.
Maybe a short story in an anthology, where she screams like a dervish while fighting zombies in the airport?
