Wicked Girls changing the world, one disk at a time.

The CD Baby newsletter for April has gone out. They always highlight a few albums, including their titles and covers, along with "listen" links. It's a fun way to find new music, and filk albums never show up there.

Only Wicked Girls? Is their top seller for April. And they still have stock, so hopefully people will be able to listen and then order and then I will have fewer CDs sitting around waiting to be adopted.

So, um. I think this may be the first filk CD ever selected as a top seller.

Whoa.

Unrelated but sort of important

I'm doing a new form of April Fools (posting genuinely fun and non-trick images and stories), and I'd really like to use one of your old entries. As you can't have your personal and professional journals publicly shared together, I was wondering if it would be okay to copy+paste your surreal-things entry behind a cut and give you full credit.

My friends have been through hell lately, and I know they'd enjoy reading it.

Go ahead and copy/paste, but please credit only the personal journal, as I don't feel like sharing some of those events publicly as my professional name.
