Well, you're in luck on all three counts, because I will be at the Other Change of Hobbit in Berkeley, California this Friday, from seven to nine PM.
Yes, I will read; yes, I will sign; yes, I will answer silly questions. Yes, there may be music, because I am me, and it is borderline inevitable that there will be music when I go around being me in a public place. Yes, the bookstore has copies of Late Eclipses, as well as all my other recent publications, including Whedonistas. Yes, I hope to see you there.
It has been over a month and I am only now writing you, so dreadfully sorry! I wanted to say that I REALLY enjoyed seeing you and hanging out with you at The Other Change of Hobbit, and feel especially fortunate that we basically got to chat all evening. It was also very nice to ALSO get to go out to dinner with you and I look forward to seeing you again. (Probably at Cat Valente's signing in May.)
Since the "reading" at T.O.C.O.H., my dad and stepmom have come up from Colombia, my sister has had a baby boy(OMG I am an auntie!), we have gone to Wondercon (and missed you, but saw Carla Speed MacNeil and bought her Finder Library from her and mentioned you, but her eyes were a bit glazed and I don;t think it sank in.) and apparently you have been EVEN busier! I am glad you're feeling better and hurrah hurrah on your successes!! W00t!
As for me, I am going to dive into art more and start posting someday soon to my own woefully ignored journal. (I still only spend about 2 hours a week online, but have to change that because I miss the "social" time. LOL, I'm spending too much time day-to-day with "REAL LIFE" people but not enough with the friends I mostly only get to "see" online, and I REALLY MISS my friends!!)
