We are who we are, we love who we love. Goodnight, world.
This is a rare thing which I am sharing with you; a moment of peace and tranquility the likes of which happens only for a few seconds at a time, and even then, only when the moon is right, and the tide is low, and the world holds its breath.
Behold:
That's Alice closest to camera, with Thomas in the middle, and Lilly on the end. As is always the case with me, the picture is a few weeks old at this point; Thomas is almost twice as big now as he was when this picture was taken (I think shortly after Arisia).
I hope that all is well in your world, and that something makes you as happy as these three balls of vicious blue fluff make me.
Yes, indeedy. We are also blessed with the power of the fluff, as well. I've tested and my blood pressure goes down when I watch/pet my sleeping kitties.
I think that taken altogether your cats take up about the same amount of space as our Golden goofball Molly.
Molly turns two years old at the end of this week, she weighs 75 pounds, she is very definition of energetic and enthused. And we are over the moon about her.
Occasionally, we get the whole Gang of Four on the bed. Mostly, Dorothy (the wild kitten -- in userpic) chases around the house with Vir (the psycho Siamese), while Kimba (the gentle giant Siamese) and Heidi (cranky old cat is old and cranky) curl up somewhere.
The only reason Josh and I have a king-sized bed is to allow room for the cats. And they STILL manage to crowd us. If I wake up in the middle of the night, it's because I'm pinned between two cats, and have cramped up in the position they put me in.
My Yuki girl gave me such a warm greeting when I awoke to make the doughnuts this morning. Knowing she would be waiting for me when I got home is fuel enough to get through the day of killing office zombies.

The sad thing is, they didn't all pile on until after I found out a friend lost her beloved cat. I think I am emanating "need kitties" vibes.

I can't tell where Alice ends and Thomas begins - they're like a giant meta-cat :D

(Abby and Ella, who can go from play-fighting their way through the house to snuggly-grooming in a millisecond - and back again)
