Too tired to brain. Have an open thread.

I cannot brain today. I have the tired, and the office cold has decided to hang out in my head, making me slow and lurgy and reluctant to commit to anything more strenuous than sitting around my bedroom, not putting on pants.

So here is a picture of Thomas cuddling with Amberlee the velociraptor, intended to signal that this post is an open thread. Tell me things! Any sort of things you want. Also, I am declaring amnesty from my normal "answer all comments" policy. So I may answer comments on this thread, and I may not. Either way, my psychotically cute kitten will be snuggling with a dinosaur, and that proves that life is AWESOME.

Enjoy!

D'awwww!

I used to have a cat, SoCo, who would climb under the covers so I could spoon her. I'd wake up with a warm cat snuggled against me, her head lying on my arm and the rest of her stretched out so that her feet would touch my knees. If she couldn't climb under the covers by herself, I'd wake up to a soft paw nudging my shoulder until I let her in.

Also, I got to see a version of Romeo and Juliet last night that had been taped at the Globe Theatre. It's a little odd to watch a play that's been recorded with zooming-in and all that. The blocking that has the actors facing all the different sides of the stage looks like frenetic pacing on tape, and the big, dramatic gestures looked melodramatic. Also, they needed to pan out on the swordfights.

But still, it was enjoyable, and I thought of you. I smacked myself in the head during some of Mercutio's lines, because it had been a while since I'd read the play, and I never caught the connection.

tl;dr: I'm tired, too, and I babble when I'm tired.
