Thank you, thank you, thank you for May and Jazz.

Soooo....does Toby know whether or not her daughter has made the Changeling's Choice? Wouldn't that have occured during the time she was a fish?
I recall it being stated that she wouldn't need to, as she is 3/4 human.

Now, that was before the revelation that Amandine is one of the First born and that Toby's abilities had been manipulated. Would the actual strengths in Toby's blood/genes pass through to Gillian even though they were bound in Toby?

And I think it's been referenced that Toby has seen her from a distance since she ceased being a fish, so presumably if she had to make the choice, she chose human.
Yeah, I was thinking that now that we know about Toby's lineage, that might have affected what her daughter inherited. I vaguely remember there being mention of her having seen her daughter. I need to go back and re-read everything. Or read them more slowly so I absorb more of the details.

Toby was actually less than 50/50 fae/human when Gillian was born. Gilly was thus born less than 25% fae. Toby not being Daoine Sidhe didn't impact her lack of magic in the slightest.
I don't think anyone who chooses human is allowed to live. So if she's still around and not kidnapped off to the summerlands, the choice must not have come up.

Man, Toby would have been pissed to come back from being a fish to find out her daughter had been killed off for thinking she was human.
Ooooooooooh, yeah.
No, they wouldn't. Toby's fae blood was very dilute when Gilly was born; there was only so much she could inherit.
